Thank you for visiting the gifts and hampers terms and conditions page.

By making a purchase from www.giftsandhampers.com or by making a purchase from Alexir Brands Limited you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions in their entirety. These conditions are subject to change at any time, it is your responsibility to check these terms before buying hampers or gifts in case there are any changes.

Any amendments or alterations to accepted orders must be in writing and may only be cancelled or varied with Alexir Brands Limited consent: the giving of such consent shall not in any way prejudice Alexir Brands Limited rights to recover from the Purchaser full compensation for any loss or expense arising from such cancellation or variation.

If the final order is increased from the initial agreed quantities please note that extra lead-time may be required to: re-stock items, pack items and despatch the order.

Allergy Information:

Within in each gift or hamper product description (that contain foods) you will find a link to a PDF document, this document will include front and back of pack photos of each food / drink component included withing the product. We do always advise you to always check the labels on individual items before consumption.



All orders must be paid for in full prior to despatch of the goods. The following payment methods are accepted;

  • Credit/debit cards –(Visa, MasterCard, and American Express debit and credit cards) - all card payments are validated and authorised prior to completion of your order. We are not liable for non-delivery of your goods if your payment is not authorised
  • PayPal

Credit terms are only acceptable for large corporate orders and by agreement only.

Credit Card Security:

To authorise the card payments all details are encrypted and passed between us and our provider using 128-bit SSL certificates.



All prices for Goods are specified on all Alexir Brands Limited media (brochures or websites) and are correct at time of publication or at agreed contract prices. VAT will be charged at the current rate on vatable items only, i.e. chocolates or wines etc. Alexir Brands Limited reserves the right to change product and delivery prices without notice.

Damaged or Defective Hampers:

All our hampers are fully insured.

If your recipient has received a damaged or defective hamper then we guarantee to replace or refund the hamper in full, as long as:

  1. You telephone us on 01825 700897 or email info@giftsandhampers.com within 48 hours of delivery if the hamper
    2.    If we request to see the hamper will we organise the collection at our cost, but the recipient is reasonable in making the hamper available for collection between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (except Bank Holidays)
    3.    If requested you will take a photograph of the damaged or defective hamper(s) and forward a copy to hamper HQ.

Please note

  • You will not be charged for the collection of your item or for the delivery of a replacement hamper.
  • Please note that we are unable to reimburse the cost of returning an item to us under any circumstances, as we will arrange collection through our own carrier at no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

All orders can be cancelled up to the day of despatch, when a full refund will be credited, except if:

  1. the order is a large corporate order
  2. the hamper is a bespoke hamper, as on some bespoke hampers where we have to purchase specific items
  3. the order has been personalised


Online and Telephone Orders:

For online and telephone orders the customer has the right to cancel, for whatever reason, an order up to seven days after receipt of goods, as long as:

  1. we are notified in writing, by fax or email, within 7 working days of delivery.
  2. the hamper does not contain any perishable items.
  3. the hamper remains unused and no components are un opened
  4. the recipient takes all reasonable care of the hamper and its contents prior to our collection which will take place by our carrier between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Excluding Bank Holidays)

We will refund you the full amount including carriage within 28 days of delivery.

Email & Written Orders:

If a customer wishes to cancel their order once it has been dispatched then the following refunds will apply;

Written or email orders cancelled due to incorrect delivery information provided

50% of invoiced price of the hamper less the original delivery and return charges

Written or email orders for hampers not delivered due to incorrect delivery information provided

50% of invoiced price of the hamper less the original delivery and return charges

For orders placed in writing or by email where the carrier is unable to deliver due to the unavailability of the recipient and the hamper is returned

50% of invoiced price of the hamper less the original delivery and return charges


Perishable Food Excluded from 'Cooling-Off' Period: 
The perishable foods we sell on this website are excluded from your statutory right to withdraw purchases within the seven working days 'cooling-off' period. The cooling off period does not apply to perishable food items.

Substitutions & Product Availability:

Alexir Brands Limited will make every effort to conform to product listings and in the event of non-availability, goods will be substituted with other item(s) of similar quality and value. Errors and omissions excepted. All orders are subject to availability, if a hamper is sold out then we will endeavour to contact the purchaser to agree an alternative hamper.

Images and Graphic Depictions: 
Images on our website are intended for guidance only and are not necessarily displayed to scale or exact colour definition. Graphic depictions may not, therefore, be identical to actual products and should be used for general guidance only. Colours of linings can vary and photographic props i.e. glasses are not included unless otherwise stated.


Any hampers containing alcohol can only be ordered by customer over 18 years of age.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
