10 Things to do with your Dad this Fathers Day!

We have given you tips on our favourite hampers to delight your Dad on Fathers day. Now its time to sort out a fun day out and so you can spend some quality time with your old man this Sunday!

1. Golf
Or the more likely alternative mini golf/ pitch and putt.
Whether you or your Dad are pro golfers or complete amateurs, golfing will guarantee you a fun afternoon for Fathers and children alike.

2. Go Carting
Start your engines- Ready, Set, Go! Jump behind the wheel and it will be fun for all the family. A unique and action-packed day out!

3. Beer Tasting
I think we all have our fingers crossed that this Sunday will be lovely weather. But as we all know, England can be very hit of miss. So if you want to play it safe and plan an activity away from the British summer, why not book a brewery tour and tasting? A perfect day out for those beer lovers out there!

4. Go Ape
My family have a tradition of going to Go Ape, a tree top obstacle course, every Fathers day. It is perfect for an adventurous, active day out with the family. They have a number of courses all over Britain and it is suitable for ages 10+.

Scared of heights? Not a problem! They also offer forest Segway riders to explore the beautiful scenery firmly on the ground.

5. Camping
My Dad is always nagging at me to go camping with him. My view is I am only getting into a tent and wellies if I am watching Adele and Coldplay at some point over the weekend. However, maybe I should give in and spend some good old-fashioned quality time with my dad.

6. Car Show
Is your Dad a car lover? Look up your local car show to view an array of outlandish supercars and historic models. A lovely day spent walking around in the sunshine.

7. Cook/ Bake something with him
Here at Hamper HQ we love baking! Check out some of our easy recipes on our blog for food inspo! My favouite is the chocolate fudge and banana pie!

8. Go to your local beach or park
It is National Picnic Week, so why not spend Sunday with your trusty Todhunter basket and a combination of your favourite treats. You could even try a BBQ!

9. Go Bowling
This will be right up every ones alley! Pull out your competitive streak and your bowling shoes for an activity, which in my opinion, never fails to disappoint.

10. Make him a card and breakfast in bed.
No matter what you do this Fathers Day the important thing is you spend some time together and let him know how much you appreciate him on his special day!
